Sergey
Korolyov is the designer of Soviet rocketry and astronautics founder. In 1957
Korolyov launched into orbit the first ever artificial Earth satellite. Under

Pylchykov - inventor of electric phonograph. M. Pylchykov was one of the
founders of metrological station in Kharkiv, where he conducted practical
studies and own research. In 1899-1900 he, first in the world, performed
experimental studies on radioactivity than has launched a new branch of science
- nuclear physics. Pylchykov created radioprotectors designed for protection
from radio interception.

6. Helicopter
The inventor
of the helicopter is Kyiv aircraft, who emigrated to the United States, Igor
Sikorsky. In 1931, he patented design machines with two propellers - horizontal
roof and vertical tail. The first VS-300 helicopter took to the skies in 1939.
Later, based on his VS-300, was created the world's first helicopter-amphibious,
that could take off from the water and sit on land. Also Igor Sikorsky was an
author of first aircraft giants "Ilya Muromets".


7. Electric

1870s Poltava’s inventor Theodore Pirotskyy created power transmission
technology, developed by iron wire. In 1880 he presented project use of
electricity "to move trains from the power supply." After a year in
Berlin went first tram manufactured by Siemens under the scheme of Pirotskyy.

Mykola
Kibalchich. Author of scheme the world's first jet aircraft. He drew a scheme,

fastest car in the world
A project of fastest Soviet car was developed by
Kharkiv engineer Volodymyr Nikitin in 1966. This car had scripting helicopter
gas turbine engine GTE-350 with capacity of 400 horsepower. During the check car
could develop a speed of 320 km / h at a distance of 1 km.
